I created Cita’s Sourdough with one thing in mind: no added ingredients. During my senior year at The University of Texas in Austin, I took on the age old process of bread making. Three corporate jobs and 1000 loaves of bread later, I decided to move home and do what I love: make sourdough!
Bread should only have 3 ingredients--flour, water and salt. It should be naturally leavened, slow-fermented, and baked by hand in small batches. No shortcuts. No additives. Just real bread meant to be shared with love. The result is better than any store bought bread: simple, tasty, and healthy enough to be eaten every day!
